School Fees
The following table shows the basic fees for 2013 but please make sure that you contact the school for confirmation of these amounts before making any decisions.
The schedule shows the fees that are charged along with any discount for families where more than one child is enrolled at TVCS or where families are eligible for the School Card as approved by the State government.
The tuition fees incorporate the costs of student stationery and compulsory curriculum related year-level camps and excursions. The School also provides all text books.
The following sibling discounts apply: 2nd child 15%; 3rd child 50%; 4th child 100%.
A school card discount of 50% of the normal fee applies to qualifying families (see below).
Additionally a 5% discount applies if the full year fees are paid by the second Friday of Term 1.

Billings are issued three times per year:
- at the end of January,
- at the end of April, and also
- at the end of July.
Payments are due within 14 days of the date of Invoice unless alternative (and operative) arrangements are made with the Business Manager. We expect all fee payments to be completed by September 30 in each year (again, unless an acceptable arrangement has been agreed with the Business Manager.) Please refer to page 4 of the booklet (see below for download link) for payment alternatives.
Children are enrolled in the School on the understanding that parents have committed to pay all fees when they are due. As a small Christian community school we seek to keep fees as low as economically possible, so we do ask that fees are paid on time.
Please understand that you are responsible to comply with your chosen payment plan.
Application Fee – Non-refundable
An application fee of $100 per family is required at the time of lodging an Application for Student Enrolment. This fee is non-refundable.
Entry Deposit - Refundable
A refundable entry deposit is required prior to a student commencing tuition.
Concessions are available to families starting more than one child at the same time as follows:
| Children Starting at the same time | ||||
| 1st child | 2nd child | 3rd child | 4th child | |
| Deposit | $500 | $300 | $100 | Nil |
The entry deposit is returned
- upon completion of schooling at TVCS, provided no debt is owed to the school and one terms notice of leaving has been provided, or
- can be converted to a tax deductible donation to the TVCS Building Fund or
- can be applied to tuition fees for siblings at the school.
SCHOOL CARD DISCOUNT
The School Card discount is NOT automatic. At the beginning of each year you must apply to the Department of Education, Training & Employment (DETE) and receive official notification that you are eligible for the School card benefit, before the School can make concession. You can visit the DECS website for up-to-date information about School Card. Note that the information on the DECS website is updated each January.
The tuition fee will be invoiced at the full rate until such time as official notification of eligibility is received by the School.
Please contact the school for the appropriate Application Form and due dates for lodgement. The lodgement dates and Application Forms will not be available until the end of January.
To assist themselves and the school, we urge families who believe they could qualify for school card to complete the appropriate application forms
