I am thrilled to announce that Torrens Valley Christian School is embarking upon an exciting development project: a brand-new Primary School.
This is the largest building project ever undertaken at TVCS and will be a landmark development.
It is anticipated that construction will commence from August 2022 and is estimated to be completed towards the end of 2023.
A key feature of this transformation will be spaces designed to embrace flexibility and new learning methods- adaptable and flexible spaces for staff and students.
The spaces will be warm, inviting and light filled while allowing for small to large group learning and individual or peer to peer learning.
What will it include? The development will feature classroom and specialist rooms including toilets, a kitchen, designated areas for STEM, Music, Indonesian, Educational support, art and craft lessons, science, investigations, special interest focus groups, student wellbeing programs and collaborative workspaces.
The new learning spaces will provide opportunities to share teaching and learning experiences, which recognise the unique learning needs and capacities of Primary-aged children.
Stage 1 of the Master Plan, includes not only a brand new Primary-School building, but the redevelopment of our Car Park which is already well-underway.
This Car Park development will enhance safety for vehicles and pedestrians and provide a new strong community identity and street presence. Pedestrian access will be separated from vehicle access and a new vehicle entry point will maximise access to the property and the removal of traffic off Grand Junction Road. This redevelopment will significantly help to create a safe and efficient flow of traffic to benefit all our community.
