Giving Thanks….

By Julie Prattis From the Principal 7/07/2022

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34

I give thanks for a wonderful term!

There have been so many highlights and it has been special to be able to come together, face-to-face, to share them with you.

I thank God for the Primary Musical production of The Lion King.

I thank God that we were able to resume camps, excursions, assemblies and other events.

I thank God for the Bible Presentation Assembly where the Reception students received a Bible from their Year 12 buddy.

I thank God for being able to join together as a community at the Thanksgiving Service, where we acknowledged God’s His goodness to our school.

I thank God that we have launched plans to redevelop the Primary School. What an exciting development this will be for the future!

I thank God that work has commenced on the redevelopment of our carpark. It is exciting to see work progressing on this so rapidly as we watch the builders develop our site.

I thank God for the dedication and professionalism of the staff He has placed in our school and the wonderful work they undertake.

God has blessed our school and I honour Him for all that He has done in our school this year.

As the term draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support as we partner with you in the education of your children. Thank you.

I will be taking a period of Long Service Leave in Term 3 to travel and spend time with my family. During this time Mr Anton Visser will take on the role of Acting Principal. Mr Visser has extensive experience in educational leadership and will be happy to assist you in my absence.

I wish you all God’s richest blessings as the holiday period commences. I trust you and your family have a safe and restful break and I look forward to seeing you in Term 4!
