From the Principal

You Belong Here!
Torrens Valley Christian school is a wonderful school …and we cannot fault it. Our four children have all been through, starting from Reception and we sing the school’s praises to all who will listen. We love being part of a school that believes in God and nurtures and encourages our children to use their unique gifts and talents to become all that God has created them to be. Parent.Torrens Valley Christian School is defined by the strong partnerships between home, church, and school, providing a transforming and biblically authentic approach to education. We celebrate the lordship of Christ over all of life. We care for each other. We learn in community. We provide excellence in Christian education and seek to develop a child’s full academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual potential.
You and Your Family Belong Here…
Belonging to community is so important! At Torrens Valley Christian School, we partner with you in the education of your children. We seek to provide a loving caring community where young people have a stable nurturing environment which enhances their feeling of well-being and security! Older students model to younger students, setting an example of faith and godly leadership to the little ones. You and Your Family Belong Here…
Torrens Valley Christian School is unashamedly and unambiguously a Christian school and it is our prayer that every student will develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I never tire of seeing our Reception students come into school as emergent readers… and leave as accomplished young people! Little ones come to our school with a developing trust in God and we see them leave as mature young people, ready to take on Christian leadership roles in family life and in our nation! We thank God for you and your family! We thank God we are connected in Christ. We are community and YOU BELONG HERE! Julie Prattis PrincipalDo you know someone else who should belong here, too?

Once again, we will have two teams representing TVCS at this year’s FIRST Lego League tournament. The theme this year is RePLAY and the project will get our students thinking about how to encourage people to be more active.

The event cannot run without volunteers and they are asking for anyone that would be interested in volunteering on the day to register their interest on the official website. Just follow the link, create an account and follow the volunteers link.
We are very excited to see what our two teams come up with in regards to robot design and their project.
In order to compete there are some associated costs involved. These include team t-shirts and general printing and stationery. We would like to ask for donations from any of the wonderful businesses represented within our community. If you would like to help could you please contact the Front Office.
