Primary performances of ‘The Lion King JR’ will be held at Hope Valley Church on Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June …and you and your family are invited!
The Lion King, is the ultimate classic! There are many wonderful stories that will be told and retold, but few compare to the majesty and thrill of this one!
Presented by students in Years 5 – 6, this performance will be a singing, acting, dancing extravaganza!
I’m a little bit biased, but I know that audiences will be enthralled by this fabulous TVCS production. Straight from the pages of the classic tale, this musical is a highly professional and well-staged production.
Casting is sensational. The students are terrific! The staging is outstanding! And the script is great! The play features all the creatures of the African savannah, including elephants, giraffe, zebra as well as wonderful performances from our talented students. And of course, we will meet Simba, Nala, Scar and Mufasa themselves!

The masterminds behind the show, Laura Zavarce and her brother, Alirio Zavarce serve as Producer and Director, and I commend them in the highest terms!
God has placed unique and precious gifts in each student and, in partnership with you as parents it is our desire to develop those gifts.
I feel privileged that our school is staging this musical spectacular as our students develop their God-given abilities in Creative Arts, Music, Drama, Dance, Stage Management and Technology.
The Musical, coupled with the many other activities that are taking place within the school are providing diverse and wide-ranging opportunities for our children to build competencies and develop skills that will equip them to become life-long learners…. and to glorify God in all they do!
