Our school’s holistic education, rooted in Christian values, empowers parents by ensuring that their children are formed into compassionate and responsible individuals who excel academically, preparing them for a bright future and a positive impact on the world.
Principal's Welcome
I warmly welcome you to Torrens Valley Christian School.
Our co-educational School located in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, was established in 1980 and currently has around 600 students from Foundation to Year 12.
We provide a distinctive and authentic Christian education that is based on a biblical worldview and is strongly founded in the Scriptures. We see partnership with parents as an integral part of this process, where the responsibility for the education and Christian nurture of children is an extension of what is being taught at home.
As a multi-denominational school, we encourage all facets of learning through our Christ-centred community. We are committed to the development of each student’s God-given gifts and abilities, enriching their learning experience in a supportive and family-oriented environment.
Parents choose Torrens Valley Christian School because our students thrive spiritually but also because we work individually with students and parents to engage, equip and empower students to become all they were created to be.
Our school has an excellent academic reputation. We are committed to providing high-quality teaching that prepares young people to be lifelong learners and equips them to take responsibility for the world in which we live.
We incorporate Christian values into our curriculum. Our goal is to help students understand and have a personal relationship with God. We also emphasise the importance of Christianity in all aspects of life, including how to be a good and loving neighbour.
Our aim is to ensure that every student achieves their potential in all aspects of their learning and social development. Our teachings are underpinned by a strong sense of compassion, respect, and responsibility for the world in which we live.
I warmly invite you to come and experience the difference at Torrens Valley Christian School. We offer both School tours and personalised tours, so you can choose the option that works best for you. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore our classrooms and facilities, meet our dedicated teachers and staff, and immerse yourself in the warm and welcoming environment of our Christ-centered community.
We look forward to showing you firsthand what sets Torrens Valley Christian School apart and welcoming you to our vibrant community.
